Meteorology Project: ENCAST Real-Time Data
ENCAST real-time images should be considered experimental. This weather program was written in C++, Visual Basic, and PHP by meteorologist Ben Alonzo. The graphics include data layered on WSR-88D (NEXRAD) images from the National Weather Service. They are updated in real-time and all information is dynamically generated based on surface data and raw radar files. Do not attempt to use this data to make life or death decisions. No support is given for any of these graphics. They are primarily for educational and demonstration purposes.
Sector Alpha (Central Florida Selected)
This data is not intended for broadcast use. Operational support has been discontinued. The project will remain online for student use and test purposes.
